Europe’s Médialab is a “Think-And-Do Tank” for a healthy media sector in Europe, also ‘reconnu d’utilité publique. The MédiaLab – initially Fondation Euractiv – has the same founder as the media Euractiv (which has been sold to Mediahuis in 2023).

Public Relations and Fundraising Assistant (intern)
(Contrat d’Immersion Professionnelle)

Possible starting date: January 2026
Contract: Contrat d’Immersion Professionnelle (6 months, renewable for another 6 months)

Job description: This is an exciting opportunity for a young professional to gain hands-on experience in media, EU
affairs, communications, and project support. You will work closely with the organisation’s leadership to enhance productivity, visibility, and impact across EU projects, philanthropy, and public-private partnerships.

Main tasks will include:

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, communication and public relations materials
  • Conduct background research to expand partnerships and fundraising activities
  • Maintain databases and support CRM systems, update contact lists
  • Help coordinate the organisation’s presence at partners’ events and conferences
  • Provide logistical and administrative support
  • Assist the Partnership Director in coordinating and developing ongoing projects

Profile:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, European Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Communications
  • Strong interest in EU affairs, fundraising, and communications
  • Already some experience in Brussels EU bubble
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, knowledge of French or Eastern European language is a plus
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, agile team
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong IT skills, especially with MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital collaboration tools
